Sommeliers are a tightly knit community that has not had an easy way of communicating with its members. We aim to change that. When a hotel or restaurant or wine distributor is looking for a sommelier, placing an advert in the mass media brings few results.
SommelierJobs.com is the First and so far, Only job board for sommeliers.
When an Employer or recruiter posts an opening with us, he should be able to reach the Sommelier community.
A Sommelier or Wine Director should find us to be the First place to go when looking to change employers.
It is therefore our goal to make all Sommeliers aware of this resource. To make it all interesting we shall strive for content. There will be many links and resources for Sommeliers to check out: From supplies to Beverage info. to Sommelier instructional and certifying entities. We will plan to set up a Sommelier message board where sommeliers may exchange ideas. We shall list the Wine Spectator awarded restaurants as these are the most likely places to employ sommeliers. We shall list as many Sommelier guilds and societies as we can find throughout the world. Eventually we want this board to be a job resource not only for North America but, for the world.
We shall also make this site a place where wine distributors can connect with Sommelier wine buyers.
